I have fond memories of Fran and his family. Having grown up in Peabody, my family was close to the Doherty clan and I was friends with the girls. I remember Frannie as a loving father and husband and a great "party man".....he never disappointed in his party role. During High School, Fran used to drop several of his girls and me off at Hampton Beach on Wednesday mornings on his way to work for Gerber. We spent the day at the beach, typically doing what teenagers did) and at sunset, he would pick us up and take us back to Peabody. We LOVED those summer days and loved Frannie for taking us.<br>Rest in Peace, my Irish friend and say hello to my Dad.....Bethy
