Obituary of Kathleen Molloy

PEABODY, November 3, 2002 Kathleen Molloy, 52, of Whitman, died late Sunday evening at her sisters home following a brief illness. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Charolette (LaPorte) Molloy. She had resided in the greater Boston area in her youth and has spent the last few years living in Whitman. She had worked for the Town of Pembroke at the recycling Center for 6-8 years prior to her illness. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting and she always loved to cook. She is survived by a son, Jody Freitas of Lawrence and a daughter, Andreya DeFreitas of Dorchester; a brother, Fred Pelton of Winthrop, Me.; 6 sisters, Sandra Miner of Portland, ME., Barbara Levy and Joan Molloy, both of Peabody, Jacqueline James of Hampton Beach, NH., Karen Molloy-Baldassaro of Nashua, NH., and Michelle Belcom of Bradenton, Fla.; 3 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great great nephew. Her Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church at 9:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial in Pembroke Center Cemetery, Pembroke at 11:30 AM on Thursday.
