Obituary of Gertrude P LaFreniere

Danvers, November 5, 2002. Gertrude P. (Brennan) LaFreniere, 81, of Danvers, died early Tuesday morning at the Danvers Nursing and Rehab center following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred LaFreniere. Born and raised in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Kathleen (Kelly) Brennan. She later moved to Peabody and has resided in Peabody for over 40 years. She worked for CBS Hytron in Salem and later had retired from Salem Hospital from the laundry department. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her extended family. She will be deeply missed by her nephew, Frederick Brennan and his former wife Priscilla Johnson both of Beverly; her nieces, Sandy and her husband Dennis Bernard of Beverly, Shirley and Nick Loffredo of Saco, ME. Harley Thibideau and Margie Cucinelli of Old Orchard Beach, ME., Kathy and Ed Brennan of Hamilton, and Kathleen Carrigan of Peabody and many nieces and nephews and friends at the Peabody House in Peabody. She was the sister of many brothers and sisters. Her Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 5:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-5 PM. Burial will be private in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
