Obituary of Dorothy (Sauvageau) Keszei
Peabody - Dorothy (Sauvageau) Keszei of Lynn and formerly of Peabody, beloved wife of Geza "George" Keszei of Lynn, died peacefully at the North Shore Medical Centerâ”Union Hospital in Lynn on Wednesday following a long illness.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Viola (Lesczinski) Sauvageau. She lived in Peabody for most of her life and graduated from Peabody High School. She lived in Lynn for almost 10 years.
Mrs. Keszei worked at General Electric in Lynn for several years. She was mostly at home in a nurturing role with her family.
Dorothy enjoyed walking, travel, and was musically gifted. She played a Hawaiin Steel Guitar and also sang in a local band in her youth. She also played piano at home.
She is survived by: her husband, Geza "George" Keszei of Lynn; one son, Robert Wilson of Lee, NH; two daughters, Donna Marie Pearson of Gardnerville, NV and Connie Scaramellino of Live Oak, FL; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by a son, Raymond Wilson and brother Raymond Sauvageau.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody followed by a Funeral Ceremony at 11 AM in the funeral home. Urn burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
