Obituary of Carol (Saunders) (Stone) Kipouras

Peabody - Carol (Saunders) (Stone) Kipouras, 75, beloved wife of William Kipouras, died peacefully at Grosvenor Park Nursing Facility in Salem following a long illness. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late John Saunders and Margery (Thornton) and Oscar Ouellette. She lived there for many years, and graduated from Beverly High School. She raised her family in Middleton, and later moved to Peabody where she lived for the last 21 years. Mrs. Kipouras was the Customer Service Manager for Bostik in Middleton until her retirement in 1995. Carol dedicated herself to her family and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed traveling and all kinds of music. She is survived by: her husband William Kipouras of Peabody, with whom she shared 23 years of marriage; a son and daughter-in-law, R. Kevin & Susan Stone of Rumson, NJ; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorri & Mac Seaver of Newbury and Valerie & Steven Reid of Peabody; 11 grandchildren, Samuel Seaver, Gretchen Seaver, Paige Seaver, Joshua Erickson, Timothy Reid, Jessica Reid, Corey Atwood-Stone, Eleanor Boyce, William Boyce, Margaret Boyce, and Elizabeth Boyce; her siblings, devoted sister Marion Houde of Beverly, James Saunders of Charlestown, NH, Patricia Kenyon of Saxton River, VT, Allan Saunders of CA, Sheila Therriault of Sturbridge, and Brenda Pulliam of Chester, VA, her dearest friend Kay Smyrnios and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert L. Stone, and her brothers John and Jeffrey Saunders. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at the funeral home on Monday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10 AM in St. Vasilios Church, Peabody. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem.
