Obituary of Karen Gardner

Karen Gardner, 32, of Peabody, died Sunday afternoon at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, following a brief illness. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Carlo Buono, Jr, and Bettejean (Gardner) Panopoulos of New Bedford. She was a life long resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody Vocational High School. Karen enjoyed drawing and was dedicated to her family and daughters. Besides her loving mother and father, she is survived by a daughter, Mariah Harriman of Haverhill and Brooklyn Soares of Peabody, a step brother, Carol Buono III, of Lynn, two sisters, Nanette Gardner and Kendra Jones, both of Peabody and is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St, and (Downtown) Peabody, followed by Services at 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
