Obituary of John M. Polding

. John M. Polding, 47, of Peabody and formerly of Seabrook, died unexpectedly Saturday at Salem Hospital. Born in Chorley, England, he was the son of Margaret (Jackson) Polding of Amesbury and the late John K. Polding. He was a graduate of Hampton, New Hampshire High School in 1980. He has lived in Peabody for the past 20 plus years. He worked as a quality inspector for the Goodrich Company, formerly Walbar Metals in Peabody and later he worked independently for various manufacturing companies on the North Shore. He enjoyed fantasy football, baseball, basketball, and soccer and has won his office pool in fantasy football for the past two years. He was also and avid fan of the Manchester United Soccer team in England and the Minnesota Vikings football team. Beside his loving mother, he is survived by a brother, Jason Polding of Peabody and by dear friends and co-workers. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Funeral Services will be private.
