Obituary of Kerry Belle Durgin

Kerry Belle Durgin, 49, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died peacefully Monday afternoon at the Salem Hospital after battling a long illness. Born in Laconia, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Rogers) Durgin. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She worked as a waitress for a local caterer until her illness. She loved to travel, enjoyed sewing, writing and needlepoint. She also had great faith and loved her church and was a member of Friends of Bill W. She is survived by four children, Thomas, Eric, Chris and Melody, a brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Despina Rogers and a sister Melody Spencer, all of Peabody, three grandchildren, Dylan, DJ, and Torie, two nephews, Cory and Scott Spencer, and is also survived by her many cousins and extended family. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend, visiting hours will follow until 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
