Obituary of Mary M. (Yale) Michaud

Mary M. (Yale) Michaud died Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the age of 84. She was married for 60 years to the love of her life, the late Gerard E. Michaud. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Henry I. Yale and Doris A. (Fellows) Yale. Mrs. Michaud was born on November 1, 1920 in Peabody. She was a graduate of St. John’ s School in Peabody, and Emmanuel College in Boston where she earned a B.A. in Biology. In 1965 Mrs. Michaud returned to school and earned her teaching Certificate. She taught Special Education at Cobbett Junior High and Breed Junior High in Lynn until her retirement in 1980. In her later years she wintered in Florida and traveled throughout the world. Her greatest and deepest joy was the time spent with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Marguerite M. Mailloux and her husband Paul, and Dorothea E. Kuchinsky and her husband Andrew. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, Kristin LaTerza, David and Jonathan Mailloux, Frederick Sullivan, Gregory and Sara Kuchinsky, Andrej Smatana and Lisa Call, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and the loving staff and residents of Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peabody. Mrs. Michaud was pre-deceased by her daughter Mary Ann Michaud, her brothers, Arthur and Henry I. Yale Jr., and her sister Sr. Dorothea Yale, SND Her funeral service will take place on Monday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Ann’ s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Sunday from 4 until 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
