Obituary of Carl J. Anderson

Carl J. Anderson, 55, of Lynn, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 4, 2009 in Lake Worth, FL. Carl was born in Lynn, March 17, 1954, son of Carl J. and Joan L. (Hulsman) Anderson of Peabody. He was raised in Salem, attended and graduated from the Salem Vocational High School Class of 1972. In 1988, Carl moved to Lynn where he has since resided. Carl was presently employed as a machinist a position he has held for the past 25 years at General Electric in Lynn. Being mechanically inclined, Carl enjoyed tinkering and fixing motorcycles and woodworking as hobbies. Every chance he had, Carl loved to travel and hike in the White Mountain New Hampshire area. In addition to his parents of Peabody, Carl is survived by 2 daughters, Kendra L. LeFave of Peabody and Nicole Anderson of Tamworth NH; 2 grandchildren, William Tsonis of Peabody and Bodie Anderson of Tamworth NH; 2 sisters and their husbands, Katherine and David Blanchette of Whitinsville, and Ann and Leonard Blouin of Salem; 1 uncle, Victor Anderson of Naples, ID; a son-in-law, Arthur Tsonis of Peabody and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Reverend Barbara Herber of the Grace United Methodist Church, Wyoma Sq., Lynn will officiate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A family committal of ashes will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100 Rear Cedar Grove Ave., Peabody.
