Obituary of Elizabeth J. (Beston) Vose

Elizabeth J. Liz (Beston) Vose, 49 years, wife of Richard A. Vose, Jr. of Danvers died Monday at her home after a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Vose was born Jan. 12, 1953 in Beverly, daughter of James F. and Lilla M. (Connelly) Beston. She was raised and educated in Peabody graduating from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School class of 1971. She then attended Salem State College graduating in 1975, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. Prior to her marriage and raising her family she was employed as a math teacher at the John F. Kennedy Junior High School for 6 years. She designed her own wedding dress, and after raising her family, for the past 8 years, she along with her business partner designed and produced custom ski clothing for many elite ski teams and New England ski resorts. She enjoyed knitting, reading and being with her family. In addition to her husband of 25 years and her parents she is survived by two daughters, Sarah E. and Allison J. Vose both of Danvers; two sons, Michael R. and Thomas J. Vose of Danvers; a sister and her husband, Judith F. and Scott Bozek of Budapest, Hungary; three nephews, Andrew Bozek of Washington, DC, Jeffrey Bozek of VA and Philip Bozek of Hungary; her father and mother-in-law, Richard A. Vose, Sr. and Eileen J. (Reardon) Vose of Peabody also several aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody location 978-531-0398 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Richard Church, Danvers. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
