Obituary of Dorothy A. (Brown) Foskett

Dorothy A. (Brown) Foskett PEABODY—Dorothy A. (Brown) Foskett, 71, beloved wife of Paul Foskett of Peabody, died peacefully at her home on Saturday afternoon in the presence of her loving family. Born in Jamaica Plain, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Curran) Brown. She lived there in her youth, and lived in the Peabody area for many years. Mrs. Foskett was an Insurance Agent with Mazonson Insurance of Peabody. She was noted for her excellent customer service skills, and covered the lines of automobile and property & casualty. She was involved in IWAA, a professional association for women in the insurance field. Dorothy loved and devoted much of her attention to her family, especially the grandchildren. She had a sharp mind, and enjoyed television quiz shows like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune; she also had creative and artistic gifts. She enjoyed music and singing, crafts, and was very adept at crocheting. She is survived by: her husband Paul Foskett of Peabody, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage; nine children, Christine Brown of York, ME, Michelle Rose of Boxford, Paul Rose of Boston, Michael Rose of Salem, Jeffrey Foskett of Peabody, Kevin Foskett of Jacksonville, FL, Kurt Foskett of Wichita Falls, TX, the late Douglas Foskett, and Melanie Maxham of New Durham, NH; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister Clair Vasterling of Attleboro, and two nephews and a niece. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. facility, Peabody. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for her Funeral Service held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
