Obituary of Tena (Pagano) DePippo
Tena (Pagano) De Pippo, 93, of Rowley and formerly of Winthrop and East Boston, died Sunday at the Seaview Retreat Nursing Center in Rowley after a long illness. She was the wife of the late William De Pippo.
She was born in Boston on November 27, 1915, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Puglisi) Pagano and was raised in East Boston and later resided for several years in Winthrop before moving to Rowley.
Tena had been a secretary for the Blue-Cross/ Blue Shield Company in Boston for over 20 years prior to her retirement. She had been an active member for many years at the former Mt. Carmel Church in East Boston.
She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Dolly DePippo of Haverhill, MA, Robert and Susan DePippo of Winthrop and Richard and Frances DePippo of Tampa , Florida, two sisters, Ann Dellaria of East Boston and Laura Arrigo of Winthrop, her cherished nine grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren , a daughter-in-law, Debra DePippo of Concord, NH and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late William DePippo and the sister of the late Frank Pagano.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. There are no visiting hours.
