Obituary of Yvonne (Denault) Pinto

Yvonne (Denault) Pinto, 91, of South Peabody, died early Thursday morning at her residence after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Jose Pinto. She was born in Lowell, Ma on October 16, 1991, the daughter of the late Joseph and Melvina (Daige) Denault and moved to Salem in her youth where she attended St. Joseph’ s Grammar School. She had resided in Peabody for the past 70 years. She was a foreperson at the Diamond Kidd Leather Co. and later at the Rex Leather Co. in Peabody for 20 years prior to her retirement in 1962. She enjoyed Bingo games at the Moose Hall in Salem on Sunday Afternoons. Surviving her are 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony and Joan Pinto of Lynnfield and Joseph Pinto of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Rupert Carter of So. Peabody; a brother, Arthur Denault of Beverly, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill- Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. Visiting hours On Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
