Obituary of Gerard "G.J." Pierce

Gerard J. GJ Pierce, Jr. PEABODY Gerard J. GJ Pierce, Jr., 48, beloved husband of Linda (Robertson) Pierce, died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a car accident in Texas. Born in Winchester, he was the son of Mary E. (Lynch) Pierce and the late Gerard J. Pierce, Sr. He lived in Peabody for most of his life, and lived in Keller, TX for the last two years. He attended Peabody and Lynnfield schools, and graduated from Austin Prep School in North Reading. Mr. Pierce served in the United States Air Force just after the Vietnam Conflict. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, and enjoyed gathering with friends and family. He is survived by: his wife, Linda (Robertson) Pierce of TX, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage; two daughters, Casey Pierce and Danielle Pierce, both of TX; his mother, Mary E. (Lynch) Pierce of Middleton; four brothers, William Bill Pierce of Hollis, NH, Chris Pierce of Middletowne, DE, Dave Pierce of Derry, NH, and Steve Pierce of Salem, NH; two sisters, Mary Ellen Fraser of Middleton, MA and Joanne Kelly of Leominster, MA; his mother-in-law, Lorraine Robertson-Bennett of Lynnfield, and he also leaves many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a gathering in commemoration of his life on Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut ST. location, Peabody.
