Obituary of Evelyn A. (Walker) Brown

Evelyn A. Brown, 92, of Peabody, died Tuesday morning at the Hunt Nursing Center in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Howard M. Brown, Sr. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Susan (Jordan) Walker. Evelyn lived in Peabody for many years and worked as a nurse at the Lenox Nursing Home in Lynn. She is survived by her loving sons, Howard M. Brown Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Peabody and John Brown of New Hampshire, her beloved granddaughter, Krista Brown and is also survived by her Cocker Spaniel, Freckles. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the family lot in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
