Obituary of Donna Louise (Kelley) Murray

Donna Louise (Kelley) Murray, 50, of Peabody died at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 following a 20-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Donna was born on July 2, 1959, in Chelsea, the daughter of John E. Kelley and the late Barbara J. (Lewis) Kelley. She was raised in Peabody and graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School Class of 1977. Later she pursued her education at the Essex Agricultural School obtaining an associates degree in 1981 and has resided in Peabody for most of her life. Donna was employed for many years as a clerk for the Internal Revenue Service retiring in 1998 due to her illness. Donna was the proud mother of her daughter Kelley Anne and she also had a special place in her heart for animals. In addition to her father of Peabody, Donna is survived by her daughter, Kelley Anne Murray of Peabody; her siblings and their spouses, John E Kelley Jr. and Linda Kelley of Burlington, Paul E. and Victoria Kelley of Haverhill, Brenda J. LeCompte of Aurora CO and Patricia A. Brownell of Peabody; her nieces and nephews, Meagan Kelley, Caitlin Kelley, Erin Kelley, John Kelley III, Kevin Whelan, Matthew Whelan, Eric Whelan and Joshua Cohen; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 10 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody followed by a service at 11 a.m. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 12 Washington St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the 82 Lynn St. facility.
