Obituary of Michael Wholley

Michael Wholley PEABODY-- Michael Wholley, 49, beloved husband of Lynn (Ferent) Wholley of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Friday evening at the Lahey North Medical Center in Peabody following a brief illness. Born in Everett, he was the son of the late Thomas F. & Ruth (Powers) Wholley, Sr. He lived there in his youth, and graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1978. He went on to graduate from Fitchburg State. Mr. Wholley worked as a senior Unix Administrator with Epsilon Company in Wakefield. Michael was active with several youth organizations in Peabody, coaching with Little League among others, and he enjoyed all Boston sports teams. He also enjoyed gathering with family and friends on Cape Cod and boating on the ocean. He will be remembered as great in trivia, for a keen wit and great sense of humor, as well as devotion to his family, friends, and professional career. He is survived by: his wife Lynn (Ferent) Wholley of Peabody, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage; a son and daughter, Olivia and Matthew; his loving siblings, Thomas Wholley, Jr. of Wakefield, Nancy Dionne of Salem, NH, Jo-Ann Pisacreta and Janet Wholley both of Lynnfield, and Kathleen Corso of Winchester, and he leaves many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death, besides his parents, by a brother Robert Wholley. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Wednesday Dec. 2, 2009 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Adelaide's Church, Peabody.
