Obituary of Gladys F. (Moser) Conrad
Gladys F. (Moser) Conrad, 88, of Peabody and formerly of Danvers, died Sunday afternoon at her home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late W.J. Bud Conrad, Sr.
Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late William and Mable (White) Moser. She was raised and educated in Danvers, attended Charter Street School and was a graduate of Holten High School. She has lived in Peabody for the past 55 years.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Friend Box and Multicell in Danvers before retiring many years ago. During her retirement she enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motor home.
Gladys was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her including her son, William J. Conrad, Jr. and his wife Lucia of Peabody, a brother, William H. Moser of Texas, and is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Leah Marie Conrad, Craig Conrad and Alex, and by her loving caregiver and friend Angie. She was the sister of the late Emily Pariseau and Barbara Bozek.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
