Obituary of Marjorie (Gosselin) Paquette

Marjorie (Gosselin) Paquette, 88, of Peabody, died Thursday evening at the Peabody Glen Nursing Center after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Paquette who died in 1986. Born in Boston, Ma. on June 29, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Mary Jane (Roger) Gosselin and was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She later resided in Salem, Ma. and Conway, N.H. before moving to Peabody. She had been employed at the Photo department of the former Burrows & Sanborn Store in Lynn for over 20 years. She also did development of film for the Lipson Studios in Salem and the Whalen Studios for many years. She had been active in Lynn English School alumnae and was a former prefect at St. Joseph’ s Church in Lynn. She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Kelley of Wildomar, California, a son and Daughter - in-law, Al and Joyce Paquette of Albany, N.H., 6 grandchildren, Charles E. Paquette of Ca., Jerrilyn Drown of Beverly, Timothy Kelley of Salem,Ma., Tracey, Michelle and Theresa Paquette all of Albany, N.H., 2 great grandchildren, Casey Holt and Meagan Paquette both of Albany, N.H and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Monday from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Mem. Park, Peabody. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 A.M. prior to the Funeral Mass. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
