Obituary of Jeannette I. (Guerrette) Hussey-Walker

Jeannette I. (Guerrette) Hussey-Walker, 83, of Peabody died peacefully on Christmas Eve morning with her family by her side after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond Hussey and the late Lloyd Walker. She was born in Salem, MA on September 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Francois and Exilda (Michaud) Guerrette and was raised there and graduated from St. Joseph’s School. She had been a nurturer to her loving family raising four children and helping care for her five step children. She had been a communicant and active member of St. John’s Church in Peabody and volunteered for many years with St. John’s Bingo program. She also enjoyed doing gardening and tending her plants. She is survived by her children, Rodney Hussey and family of Salem, Mark and his wife Kathleen of Haverhill, Pamela and her husband Paul Jasper of Ormond Beach, Fl and Kimberly Hussey of Peabody, her step children and theis spouses, Gloria and Kevin Rabideau of Malden, Barbara and Matthew Seymour of Largo, FL, June Anderson of St. Petersbury, FL, Karen and Mark Renaud of Pinellas Park, Fl, and Beth and Peter Williamson of Gloucester, MA, a sister and brother-in-law, Clara and John Barry of Salem, 35 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Church St., Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
