Obituary of David Allen Judge

David Allen Judge, 50, of Dover NH and formerly of Peabody, MA, died unexpectedly Saturday at the Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, NH. He was born in Newport, RI on June 18, 1959, the son of the late Melvin H. and Claire (Pinto) Judge and had resided in West Peabody most of his life before moving to Dover, NH 6 weeks ago. He was a graduate of the Peabody Vocational High School in 1978 and had worked in the auto industry as a mechanic and also worked in Landscaping and Fencing companies on the North Shore for many years. He was very skilled with his hands and enjoyed gardening around his house and did a lot of furniture restorations for many of his friends. While growing up in West Peabody, he had been a member of Troop 103, Boy Scouts of America and looked forward to the outdoor camping trips and excursions. David also enjoyed car racing and drove a car for many years at the New England Speedway in New Hampshire. He and his family traveled back to Newport, Rhode Island for many years for visits to family and enjoying the beaches and the area attractions. He is survived by a daughter, Alyssa Judge of South Yarmouth, MA, a brother, Michael E. Judge of Dover, NH, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Michael Lewis of Peabody and Janet and Michael Brown of Wilmington, MA, his nieces and nephews, Jolene and Nicole Beaulieu of NH, Hunter and Krissa Lewis of Peabody, MA and Kristin and Michael Brown of Wilmington, MA. He was the uncle of the late Leia Lewis. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility with a Service there at 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Boston, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115 in his memory.
