Obituary of Adriane Renee Demaso

Adriane Renee Demaso, 60, of South Peabody, died early Tuesday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her family by her side following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Robert V. Demaso with whom she shared 38 years of marriage. Adriane was born in Woonsocket, R.I. on November 7, 1949 the daughter of Madeleine (Boucher) Childress and the late Emmett Childress and was raised in different parts of the Country. She graduated from high school in St. Louis, Missouri and was married to her sweetheart in 1971. She had resided in Revere before moving to Peabody 32 years ago. Adriane was a customer service representative in the banking industry first at the Warren Five Cent Savings Bank and for the past 15 years with the North Shore Bank in the Danvers branch. She was very skilled with her hands and enjoyed arts and crafts, doing knitting and gardening around the house. She loved traveling and going up to the family cottage at Sebago Lake in Maine. Surviving her besides her husband of Peabody and her mother of Cumberland, R.I. are a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tara Demaso of Amesbury, two daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole and Brian Murdza of Windham, NH and Aimee and Thomas Murray of Eastport, L.I., NY, a brother and sister-in-law, Emmett Childress and Elizabeth Pizani –Childress of Cranston, R.I., two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dr. Adele Childress and her husband Dr. Elliott Horner of Atlanta, GA and Audrey and Richard Tessier of Woonsocket, R.I., her four cherished grandchildren, Brian and Reilly Murdza of NH and Thomas and Madeleine Murray of L.I., N.Y. and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Lynn St., Peabody at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
