Obituary of Kenneth F. Lindquist

Kenneth F. Lindquist, 80, of Peabody, died Friday morning at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness. He waw the husband of Claire Lindquist. Born in Saugus, he was the son of the late Nestor and Mary (Cusack) Lindquist. He was raised and educated in Saugus and was a graduate of Saugus High School. He has lived in Peabody for the past 52 years. Kenneth worked for over 40 years as a television repair man for Vendome TV in Marblehead, and then he worked as maintenance man for the Lakeside School in Peabody for 9 years before finally retiring. Kenneth enjoyed gardening and had a love and a fascination of airplanes and he loved to piece together model airplanes. He also loved watching sports and was a long time baseball fan of the former Boston Braves, now the Atlanta Braves. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Tina Lindquist of Plaistow, NH, Scott and Kelly Lindquist of Rosebud, Arkansas, two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen and Dennis Roy of Rowley, and Joyce Connatser of Peabody, a brother, William Lindquist of Newburyport, and is also survived by nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Robert Lindquist. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody from 2:00 until 6:00 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Following cremation on Monday, a graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
