Obituary of Mildred E. (Frazier) Gubisch
Mrs. Mildred E.(Frazier) Gubisch, 88, of 21 Wilson Terrace
Peabody, died early Tuesday morning at the Rosewood Nursing Home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Leo F. Gubisch and the mother of Sister Christine,
O.Carm of the Carmelite Sisters of Peabody.
She was born and raised in Cambridge, Md., the daughter of the late George M. and Rosa May (Kimmey) Frazier and had resided in West Virginia and later in California before moving to Peabody eight years ago.
She had been a bookkeeper at the Warren Electrical Co. in Silver Spring , Md and later
worked in the business department of Safeway Supermarkets prior to her retirement.
She later became a hospital volunteer in Charlestown, West Va. and enjoyed ocean
fishing, bowling and playing Bridge.
Surviving her besides her daughter, Sister Christine, O.Carm are a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Robert Roman of Pleasanton, Ca., two sons and a daughter-in-law, Carl F.
Gubisch of Washington , DC and Paul and Donna Gubisch of Bethseda, MD.,, three
Grandchildren, Robert Roman, Melissa Brown and Bill Pietsch She was the sister of the late Phillip Frazier.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John’ s Church, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly
