Obituary of Ernest R. Lake

Ernest R. Lake, 50, of Beverly and formerly of Peabody, died Monday at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness. He was the former husband of Elizabeth (Lima) Lake of Salem. Born in Salem, he was the son of Cecile (Marquis) Robinson of Beverly and the late Robert Lake. He was raised in Peabody and later lived in Wakefield and for the past 6 months, he has lived in Beverly. Ernest worked as manager for the Meineke Muffler in Reading before his illness. Besides his loving mother Cecile, he is survived by his two children, Richard and Sherry Lake, both of Salem, his sister, Justine Brindamour and by his half brothers and sisters, Daniel, Robert, and Nadine Lake and Linda Phinney, his grandmother, Cecile Marquis, four grandchildren, Anthony, Nicolo, Mya, and Ava and by many nieces and nephews.
