Obituary of Doris May Dupuis
Doris May (Fecteau) Dupuis, 84, of Foster St., Peabody
Died Tuesday evening at the Salem Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the
Late Edward J. Dupuis.
She was born in Salem, the daughter of the late Henry and Emma (Hebert) Fecteau and was a graduate of Salem High School. She had resided in
Salem and later after her husband’ s retirement in Camarillo, California for 15 years
Before moving back to Peabody 12 years ago.
She had been employed at the Met-Com Transitor Co. of Salem and later was a
Clerk at the Almy’ s department store in Salem prior to her retirement.
She had been an avid gardener in California and along with her husband enjoyed Organ
Music and belonged to Organ clubs there.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Janet Nunes of Peabody, Elaine Whitney of Phillipston, Ma. and Carol Seymour of Athol, Ma. 4 grandchildren, Daniel Nunes of
Peabody, Kevin, Kyle & Kelley Wilkinson all of Athol, Ma. and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louise Fecteau.
Her Funeral will be held on Friday at 8:00 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral
Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St Ann’ s
Church, Lynn St., Peabody at 9:00 A.M. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
Visiting hours on Thursday from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
