Obituary of Carolyn (Andrews) Martucci

Carolyn (Andrews) Martucci Peabody—Carolyn (Andrews) Martucci, 63, died Monday afternoon, March 29, 2010, at the Beverly Hospital following a determined battle with a long illness, and while in the comforting presence of her family. She was the wife of the late John Martucci. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Evelyn (Carter) Andrews of Lynn and the late Albert Andrews. She lived most of her life in Peabody, and graduated from Peabody High School. Spending a majority of her life as a homemaker, she will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived in Georgetown for the last few years. Carolyn had a love for music, a great sense of humor, and always looked at the lighter side of things. She was a kind-hearted, generous person with a genuine caring attitude for people and animals. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and care giving traits as she also helped her husband through his long-term illness. She is survived by: a son Anthony Martucci & his wife, Mary of Derry, NH; a daughter, Evelyn Martucci of Georgetown; one grandson, John Martucci of Derry; her mother, Evelyn (Carter) Andrews of Nashua, NH; two brothers, Richard Andrews of Charlotte, NC and Robert Andrews of PA; a sister, Janet Dubois of Nashua, NH, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday April 2, 2010 from 9:30 – 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
