Obituary of Frank V. Verry

Frank G. Verry, 82, husband of Jean B. (Dullea) Verry of Peabody, died on Wednesday morning, May 19, 2010 at Beverly Hospital. Mr. Verry was born in Salem, on March 18, 1928, son of the late Frank G. and Emily (Pepin) Verry. He was raised and educated in Salem and resided in Middleton before making his home in Peabody in 1965. Frank was employed as a side leather worker for 24 years at A.C. Lawrence Leather Company in Peabody and was later employed in the maintenance department at Beverly Hospital for 10 years until his retirement 1976. As hobbies, Frank enjoyed traveling and he was also an avid sports fan. In addition to his wife of 39 years, Frank is survived by a sister, Louise Harding of VA; a brother-in-law, Lester Goodridge Jr. and his wife Regina Goodridge of Acton, 2 nieces, Lisa Nahigian of Lexington, Debra Conlon of Westford, 5 nephews, Mark Verry of Danvers, David Verry of Beverly, Scott Verry of Lawrence, Daniel Goodridge of Bedford, Lester Goodridge II of Chelmsford; 8 grandnephews and grandnieces. His siblings Ruth Verry, George Verry and Edgar Verry predeceased him. His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 8 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday, May 21, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
