Obituary of Mary E. (Krieke) Thomas

Mary E. (Krieke) Thomas PEABODY—Mary E. (Krieke) Thomas, 83, died peacefully on Thursday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Corry, PA, she was the daughter to the late Harry and Ada (Sharp) Krieke. She grew up in Buffalo, NY where she graduated high school. She lived in Peabody for the last 54 years. Mrs. Thomas was a Certified Nurses Assistant at the Hunt Nursing and Retirement Home for several years, and retired 24 years ago. Mary enjoyed playing Duplicate Bridge through-out the North Shore. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and being with her family. She is survived by: three sons and daugters-in-law, William & Dianne Thomas of Stetson, ME, David & Joyce Thomas of Brentwood, NH, and Richard & Sandra Thomas Deerfield, NH; two daughters, Beth Ann & Michael Cantin of Peabody and Wendy & Robert Benedict of Leominster; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Peter, Jon-Paul, Michelle, Lisa, Danielle, Jessica, Michael and Lindsey; 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Monday June 21, 2010 from 12:15 P.M. to 1 PM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. A Funeral Ceremony in honor of her life will be held at 1 PM in the funeral home.
