Obituary of Phyllis Ann (Bulger) Parker

Phyllis Ann (Bulger) Parker, 71, of Peabody, died Saturday at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her family by her side after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Parker who died in 2001. She was born in Peabody on September 13, 1938 the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Matusiak) Bulger and had resided most of her life in Peabody. She had been the owner of the Parker Family Restaurant in Franklin, NH for seven years before returning to Peabody. She was an avid reader and enjoyed nurturing and being with her family. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, David E. and Kerri Ann Parker of Meredith, NH and F.J. Joe Parker and his companion Laura Callaghan both of Norton, MA, a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Andrew Zorin of Clover, So. Carolina, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a brother Walter Bulger, three sisters, Linda Mallard and Mary Mallard both of Peabody and Janice Sahovey of Georgetown, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late James Walter Parker and the sister of the late John, Peter and Ronald Bulger. A Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Peabody at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
