Obituary of Robert J. Antoszewski

Robert J. Antoszewski, 65, of Peabody, also known as Bobby Antos, died peacefully Wednesday morning at his residence after a short illness. He was born in Peabody, Ma on November 1, 1944, the son of the late John and Libby (Foster) Antoszewski and was a lifelong resident of Peabody. He had been employed in the dietary department of the Salem Hospital for over 30 years prior to a disability retirement. Bobby was a very congenial person who enjoyed the basic things of life. He liked to hang out at the Engine 5 Fire Station in South Peabody and was an avid softball fan watching games at the parks in Peabody. He enjoyed playing Bingo and sharing time with his family. He leaves two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Ethel Antoszewski of Peabody and Dan and Mary Antoszewski of Winchester, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty and William Dineen and Kae Antoszewski all of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Leonard Antoszewski who died in 1997. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, Washington St., Peabody with Rev. Seokcheol Shin officiating. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to All Care Hospice, 16 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901 in his memory.
