Obituary of Christina J. "Tina" (Kokoras) Harrison

Christina (Kokoras) Harrison, 59, of Peabody died unexpectedly Saturday at her home in Peabody. She was born in Salem, Ma on June 23, 1951, the daughter of the late James and Bessie (Koutelia) Kokoras and had resided most of her life in Peabody. She was a graduate of Peabody High School in 1969 and had been employed with the Commonwealth Of Massachusetts as an administrative assistant at various agencies at the State House in Boston for forty years prior to her retirement. She had been an avid softball player in her youth playing in the Peabody Recreational League. She also loved going to Beano and enjoyed reading good novels. She will be deeply missed by her many loving friends. She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis Serino of Peabody and her fiancé, George Saalfrank of Andover, Dorothy Tyburc and her husband Edward of Peabody, her nieces, Lisa Griffith and her husband Jason and their children Nicole and Sarah Griffith all of Dover, NH , and Kerry Rosado who had a special place in her heart and many aunts, uncles and very special friends. She was the aunt of the late Edward “Edzu” Tyburc who died earlier this year. Services will be held at the Family lot in Cedar Grove Cemetery on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev.
