Obituary of Helen (Chrucial) Ciaramella
Helen (Chrucial) Ciaramella, 90 years, of Peabody formerly of Chelsea and Everett, wife of the late Michael Ciaramella died Christmas morning at the Hunt Nursing and Rehab Center in Danvers.
Mrs. Ciaramella was born Nov. 10, 1912 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was raised and educated in Pittsburgh. She made her home in Chelsea for most of her life before moving to Peabody 9 years ago. She was employed for a short period of time as a sales clerk at the Gilcrest Department Store. She enjoyed playing beano, walking and traveling.
She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Christine and George Smith of Peabody; a son and his wife, Michael and Hedda Ciaramella of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Regina Craig of Houston, TX and Rose Smurlo of Pittsburgh, PA; five grandchildren, Karen Smith of Brooklyn, NY, Stacey Dupuis of Salem, Vincent Ciaramella of Arlington, Adam and Jon-Michael Ciaramella both of Jacksonville, FL; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Edward Chrucial and Loretta Crobak.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from the Cahill-Brodeur facility at 20 Church St., Peabody 978-531-0472 of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Peabody.
