Obituary of Sara (Gill) True
Sara (Gill) True, 45, of Florida and formerly of Peabody, died Monday morning at the Hope Hospice House in Bonita Springs, Florida following a short illness
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Maria (Manuela) Gil of Peabody and the late Joao Gil. She was raised and educated in Peabody and later moved to Bonita Springs, FL.
While living in Florida, she worked as a waitress at the Silver Spoon Restaurant in Bonita Springs until her illness.
Sara is survived by her loving daughter, Jaclyn Marie True of Bonita Springs, Sara’s significant other Charles Glass and his son Charles Anthony of Bonita Springs, her brothers, John Gill of Peabody, Antonio and his wife Marie Bettencourt of Danvers, Heliodoro Gil of Arizona, and Robert Gill of Peabody, her sisters Maria Gil and her companion Raymond of Beverly, Maria Elpidia and her husband Manuel Nunes of Peabody and Diane and her husband Jose Pais of Peabody, her nephews, Anthony Pais and Nathan Gil, her nieces, Jill and her husband Mark Anderson, Jolene Bettencourt, Rachael and her husband Tyler Destefano, Sheri and Ashley Gil, a great niece and nephew, Bree and Cole Anderson.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
