Obituary of Leona A. (Rigol) Wall
Leona A. (Rigol) Wall, 80, of Middleton and formerly of Peabody and Lynn, died early Monday morning at Union Hospital, Lynn following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Dwight Hall with whom she shared over 57 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Anderson) Rigol. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She later lived in Peabody for 35 years, retired to North Fort Myers, Fla for 13 years and has spent the last year and half living in Middleton.
She was a data analyst at the General Electric River Works Plant in Lynn for over 35 years before her retirement. She was a member of the Secretary’ s Association in Lynn and the Red Hats. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, and golfing and was a former member of the Wenham Country Club.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Frances Rigol of Peabody and James and Joanne Rigol of Lynn; a sister Martha O’ Laughlin of Lynn and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. John’ s Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
