Obituary of Dolores M. "Dolly" (Bishop) Reed

Dolores M. “Dolly” (Bishop) Reed, 91, of Peabody, a purchasing agent for many years at the Federal Paper Box Company of Medford, died peacefully Tuesday morning, October 5th at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. She was born in Malden, MA of October 21, 1918, and had resided in Massachusetts most of her life residing in Malden, Melrose and Peabody and briefly in Hampton, NH and in Lady Lake, Florida. Dolly enjoyed spending all of her free time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren of her three daughters. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Roy M. Reed in November, 1999 and by her seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Twyon of Wolfboro, NH, Marlene and her husband Daniel Grimes of Canton, MA and Donna and her husband David Sinclair of Peabody, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a special niece and her husband, Noreen and Daniel Abati of Andover, MA and several other nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Forestdale Community Church, 235 Forest St., Malden, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., West Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the North Shore Community Action Program Homecare, 86 Main St., Peabody MA 01960 in her memory.
