Obituary of Douglas Emory Currier Jr.

Douglas E. Currier Jr., 41, of Salem, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at his home. He was born in Lynn on March 9, 1964, and was raised in Peabody. He attended the Peabody Vocational High School and had resided in Lynn before moving to Salem a year ago. He was a job foreman with A.C. Castle Roofing Co. of Salem for the past 15 years. He enjoyed riding his mountain bike, telling stories and jokes. Surviving him are his father, Douglas E. Currier Sr. and his Step-mother Paula (Harris) Currier both of Peabody, 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Jimmy and Christine Currier and Paul Currier all of Peabody, 3 sisters, Donna Currier of Lynn, Nicole Currier and Kelly Iocco both of Peabody, his fiancé, Kelly Anderson of Salem, his nieces and nephews, James Currier, Cody Croft, Chloe Currier and Nicola Iocco, his paternal grandmother, Velma Corrigan of Greene, NY and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the son of the late Diane (Pacheco) Currier of Cape Cod who died last year. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. A Funeral services will be held there at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
