Obituary of Lillian R. (Ciulla) Cunha

Lillian R. (Ciulla) Cunha PEABODY Lillian R. (Ciulla) Cunha, of Eileen Road, beloved wife of the late Edgar Cunha, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday evening at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Born in the North End of Boston, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine (De Leo) Ciulla. She lived in Everett in her youth and attended Everett public schools. She graduated from Everett High School. Mrs. Cunha enjoyed dancing, playing cards, travelling, and she especially enjoyed sociability and gatherings with family and friends. She is survived by: one son and daughter-in-law, Eugene & Teresa Cunha of Peabody; one grandson, Jared Cunha of Peabody; three brothers, Anthony Ciulla of Revere, Charles Ciulla of Medford, and Thomas Ciulla of Everett & FL; three sisters, Josephine Bitto of Malden, Susan Defino and Nancy Galante, both of Everett, and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Gus Ciulla, Al Ciulla, Leonarda Menetta, and Rosalie Donahue. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10 AM from the Conway facility at 12 Chestnut St. of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. John’ s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
