Obituary of Constance M. "Connie" (Zulkowski) Brault

Constance M. “Connie” (Zulkowski) Brault, 64, wife of William E. Brault of Peabody, died at her home on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 with her family at her side. Connie was born in Salem on February 13, 1946, daughter of Alice (Lesch) Zulkowski of Port St. Lucie, FL. and the late William Zulkowski. She was raised in Peabody, attended St. John the Baptist Elementary School and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School Class of 1963. Connie then pursued her education and attended Chamberlain College in Boston for 2 years. Connie began her working career at Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Boston, leaving her employment to create and devote her life to her family, and after raising her children she returned to work at Compugraphic Corporation Company of Wilmington. From 1993 to 1999 Connie was employed as a technician at Abiomed of Beverly. She was an excellent cook and as a hobby enjoyed designing arts & crafts. In addition to her husband with whom she shared 45 years of marriage and her mother, Connie is survived by her children and their spouses, Paul Brault and his long time companion Trudy Berard of Salisbury, Carey and Ken Maurice of Barre, VT, and Heather and Donald Ruckman of Nashua, NH; a brother and his wife, Peter and Charlotte Zulkowski of Lake Havasu, AZ; a sister and her husband, Ruth and Steve Fournier of Port St. Lucie, FL; 3 grandchildren, Emily Ruckman of Nashua, NH, Travis Maurice and Jocelyn Maurice of Barre, VT; a long time friend, Cheryl Civitarese of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Monday, December 13, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
