Obituary of Anthony F. Giannone, Jr.

Anthony F. Giannone, Jr. PEABODY—Anthony F. Giannone, 33, beloved son of Virginia (Martell) (Giannone) Gagnon of Peabody, died peacefully in his sleep early on the morning after Christmas, Sunday Decemer 26, 2010 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, while in the comforting presence of his family. Born in Malden, he was the son of Virginia (Martell) Gagnon and the late Anthony Giannone, Sr. He grew up in Peabody where he attended schools, and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1995. After graduation, he lived in the Greater Boston area, living in Everett for the last few years. Mr. Giannone always loved cars. He sold cars for a number of years, and mostly worked with limousine and transportation companies as a dispatcher. He was recently employed at Commonwealth Limousine of Boston until his disability due to illness. Anthony enjoyed concerts, and travel to Cape Cod and to Florida. He was happiest when at social gatherings with family or friends. He is survived by: his mother, Virginia (Martell) Gagnon and step-father Greg Gagnon of Peabody; two brothers, Gregory Gagnon and Zachary Gagnon, both of Peabody; two sisters, Alana Giannone of Peabody and Angelia Giannone of FL, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister Cindyann Giannone. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday December 31, 2010 at 10 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
