Obituary of Harland L. "Harley" Sawyer

Harland L. “Harley” Sawyer, 40, of Peabody, died Tuesday in Salem, MA. He was born in Somerville, MA on January 9, 1970, the son of Jeannette (Frechette) Sawyer and the late Brian L. Sawyer. He was raised in Peabody and later resided in Everett, MA Harley had been a carpenter for the past 15 years working in the construction industry here and later in Texas for 4 years before recently moving back to Peabody. He enjoyed working with computers and watching movies. He also liked to go fishing and was a New England Patriots fan. He is survived by his mother Jean of Peabody, his two sons, Justin Anderson and Jordan Sawyer both of Danvers, his sister, Bridgette Brown Perry of Peterborough, NH, his three brothers, Thomas K. Sawyer of Randolph, Dennis B. Sawyer of Melrose and Richard M. Manley of Boston, his nephews Jason and Joshua Brown, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins . He was the brother of the late Cynthia Lee Sawyer. A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Service will be held there with Deacon Leo Martin as celebrant at 7:30 PM.
