Obituary of Jeffrey Castaldo

Jeffrey Castaldo, 54, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died early Saturday morning at his home following a brief illness. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Gaetano “Charlie” and Derohey “Alice” (Torosian) Castaldo. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Technical High School, class of 1973. He has lived in Peabody for the past 17 years. Jeffrey was an entrepreneur who worked independently throughout the North Shore in various capacities. He had a carpet cleaning company, and sold aquariums and salt water fish among many of business endeavors. Jeffrey enjoyed computer programming, photography, loved animals and fishing. He also enjoyed watching baseball and football and cherished the time he spent at Fenway Park watching the Red Sox play. He also was a Mason and a member of the Mt Carmel Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Saugus Jeffrey is survived by his fiancé Lucine Pike of Salem, his two children, Christian Castaldo of Lynn and Cassandra and her husband Shawn Mullen of Raymond, NH, a sister, Sheryl Burrows of Vineland, NJ, and by his two grandchildren, Arianna Castaldo and Kevin Mullen. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
