Ann Marie (Barry) Clericuzio
PEABODY—Ann Marie (Barry) Clericuzio, 70, beloved wife of the late Andrew Clericuzio, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday January 22, 2011.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Fitzgerald) Barry. She grew up in Medford, and graduated from Medford High School. She lived in Peabody for nearly 50 years.
Mrs. Clericuzio was a bookkeeper with First National Stores, and was an entrepreneur while organizing events for friends and others who shared her hobbies. She was also a full time Nanny.
Ann Marie was very devoted in her spirituality, and was involved in numerous activities at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield. She was a Eucharistic Minister, tour director, and friend of many in the parish. She facilitated the development of the Our Lady of Assumption School’s PTO, bowling league, and helped at the rectory. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing, and social gatherings for friends and family. She will be remembered for her devotion, dedication, and family values as the core to a good life.
She is survived by: two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen & Patricia Clericuzio and Michael Clericuzio & his wife Maureen Mailloux all of Peabody; a granddaughter, Ashley Clericuzio of Peabody; a dear, longtime companion Sal Salamone of Maynard; a sister-in-law, Michaela Barry of CT; a niece, two nephews, and several cousins, other family, and numerous friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Barry.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday at 9 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Grove St., Lynnfield. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ann Marie Clericuzio Memorial Fund, c/o OLA Parish, 17 Grove St., Lynnfield, MA 01940.
