John was an amazing man, always ready with a smile and a kind word. He was the highlight of my Wednesdays when he and Tex, and then later John, his nephew, would come to the North Shore Community College student cafe on the Essex Aggie campus for lunch. John always encouraged the young students with his positive feedback and patience. I will miss John sitting at table 6, eating his Black Forest Cake and sharing a story. He was a part of my family and I will miss forever.
