Obituary of Padraic "Pad" B. S. Pierce

Padraic B.S. Pad Pierce 23 years of Salem, died accidentally in San Diego California on Saturday August 6, 2005. Pad was born June 28, 1982 in Beverly, son of Lawrence W. Pierce of Salem and the late Marian C. (Attridge) Pierce. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a lifelong resident of the city. Pad was employed for 4 years as a painter in his father’ s business the Pierce Painting Co. in Salem. He excelled in sports and played on the Salem Recreational Basketball League and the Salem Soccer traveling team. In addition to his father, he is survived by his 3 brothers, Lucas W., Adam E. and Bryon M. Pierce all of Salem; his paternal grandmother, Claire A. (Sheehan) Pierce of Salem; his maternal grandparents, William Attridge of Salem and Shirley (Davis) Attridge of NH; a grand uncle Rev. William Sheehan OMI of Lowell; his aunts and uncles, Virginia Ginny and Eric Johnson, Johanna and Tom L’ Italien all of Salem, James and Leigh Attridge of Beverly, Paula and Russ Hilliard of Hampton Falls NH, Maureen and Ed Kulak of Brentwood NH, Elizabeth and Mark Baillargeon of New Market NH and Julie and Frank Bonuito of Amesbury and several cousins. Pre deceased by his grandfather Francis J. Frank Pierce Sr. and 2 uncles Francis J. Pierce Jr. and John Attridge. His funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Sq. East (at Salem Common) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours 4 - 8 p.m. Cremation will follow services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Youth Soccer League, c/o 32 Raymond Rd., Salem MA 01970.
