I'm so shocked to hear of this news although I am late I would like to pay my respects to Mike. In high school, I worked for Mike at E.A. Stevens as an assistant. He was always a nice person to me and after working there for a while I saw him as a father figure. The first Bruins game I ever went to was because Mike gave me a ticket. He was very generous and would give the shirt off of his back.
God Bless you Mike....you will truly be missed.
May you rest in perfect peace.

Jennifer Pierre

Vicki, Kelly, & Greg

Please know that we will keep you and your family in our prayers. I know that Mike will be shining down upon you all proudly. I will always remember Mike as a nice guy, always smiling, and always cutting the lawn!! Since we lived two doors down we had to pass his house daily atleast twice, sometimes 10 depending on how much was going on. I would either see him working in the yard or putting or pulling out hockey gear and clubs from the trunk of his car. Mike; I hope you are enjoying 18 now and having fun with those slap shots without any worries. We were proud to know you as our neighbor.

Stan, Lisa, Matthew, & Laura Tarnowski
Forest Street Neigbors
Georgia

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Mike's family, his friends and his colleagues at E.A. Stevens. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Mike for the past 20+ years. He was smart; he was occassionally gruff; he was witty and funny. I will miss him.

Mike and I had the dubious honor of sharing the Richardson pasture where we built our first homes in the early 70's. As I recall Mike was always there to lend a helping hand when one was needed and occasionally when it wasn't. I watched, for some time, the growth of Mike and Vicki's family as they mirrored my own. I still remember the night of the "tequila sunrise" horrible headache and the crawl back home. As the years passed we shared insurance stories and a few good and not so good golfing times.

Mike was a wonderful person and friend. I know that he is now in a better place but will always remain in our thoughts. They will always be there. My prayers are there for Mike, his DAD, Vicki, Kelly, Greg and their respective families. Mike will always be with us.

Bill Webb

My thoughts and sympathies are with Mike's family, friends, and colleagues.

I got to know Mike through community service in Middleton. Mike was a "stand-up guy." He was the first to donate to a cause, buy tickets, or volunteer his time and energy. He became someone that I counted on, and he never let me down. I will always remember Mike at the Chief Will's Day cookout, year after year, slaving over a hot grill and having a great time.

I remember one particular instance when I asked someone to get involved in a new charity event. That person's response was that it was always the same tired old horses pulling the community service wagon. He was partially right about that. It was often the same people leading those efforts, but the horses weren't tired; they were proud to help. Mike was one of those horses, and the rest of the team will miss him dearly.

Rest in peace, my friend.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I am thinking of you Kel and your family. I would like to say that "Papa Clifford" was one of the best men that I have ever met. He was always there for us during college and after. He was like a father for all of us, always ready to have a good time with plenty of laughs along the way. He will be missed but I feel lucky to have known him. When I think of him I smile. Love to you all during this sad time. He will be with you always. xoxo

Our dear frined Mike will be deeply missed. Very few things in life compare to the wonderful and exciting times our extented families shared together the past 24 years. We treasure the memories of watching sporting events, the Thanksgiving meal times, watching our children and grandchildren grow together. And without saying, laughter and excitement playing golf together. While our golfing foursome is incomplete, we will always have your presence, Mike, joining us regardless of where we are.

From Orlando to Benita Springs, Florida the memories shared will remain forever lasting. To share a phrase that his daughter Kelly expresssed recently, "you are not saying goodbye, Mike will always be with us".

May his memory be eternal.
Our families were drawn together many years ago at The Vistana through Greg and Beth. That chance meeting was the beginning of a lifelong friendship and your family becames ours. We shared Thanksgiving every year, we watched our kids at the pool and then our grandkids. Never thought we would see Mike pushing a stroller! We golfed, drank and enoyed the rivalry of football. We are fortunate and proud to say we were Mike's friend. We will miss our dear friend and will always cherish the joy you brought to all of us. There will always be an empty chair at the Vistana bar thinking of Mike having a beer and smoking a cigar. May you rest in peace dear friend.

As an integral part of the Vistana family, Mike was a good ole boy, from the days we used to play doubles tennis, day long volleyball marathons, and the occasional "beah" at Zimmies, Mike was and always will be a part of my family and I am proud to say that I had the honor of his friendship. You're in a better place, and for that, I am thankful, although you are surely missed and loved. Rest in peace my friend.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Mike's passing. Mike was a MAN among men. Always with a smile even when circumstances dictated a different response (like hitting a golf ball in the water). A person that people liked to be around. He appeared to live his 63 years as well as you can live them. As a fellow API grad he will always be remembered in my heart.

God Bless all of you in his family
