Obituary of Anna C. (Pisco) Misci

Anna C. (Pisco) Misci PEABODY—Anna C. (Pisco) Misci, 95, beloved wife of the late Julio Misci, died Saturday afternoon at the Peabody Glen Nursing Home in Peabody following an extended illness. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Puleo) Pisco. She grew up in Boston where she attended schools. When she got married, she moved to Revere where she nurtured her family. She later moved to Peabody for a short time, then retired to Margate, FL for 16 years. . After the passing of her beloved husband, she lived in Phoenix, AZ for 15 years, and moved back to Peabody where she lived for the last four years. Mrs. Misci enjoyed music of all kinds, from classical to big band and swing band jazz. She enjoyed dancing very much. She will be dearly remembered for her most cherished traits, her calling was family values and nurturing the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by: a daughter and son-in-law, Julianne & Ken McLaughlin of Peabody; two sons and a daughter-in-law, A. Robert & Michele Misci of Lake Worth, FL and James Misci of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren, Christopher & Cathy Misci of Rockford, IL, Craig & Sisi Misci of Boston, Laurianne & Eric Heine of Littleton, MA, and Daniel & Jacqueline McLaughlin of Boothwin, PA; seven great-grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas, & Anna Misci, Paul Heine, Ethan and Ronan McLaughlin, and Reine Misci; she was one of 10 siblings who are all deceased except for a sister, Mildred Taylor of CA, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may gather for a visitation on Friday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 30, 2011 at 10:30 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St., Peabody. Cremation will follow the Mass.
