I am shocked and saddened to hear of Maria's passing. She was a mother to us all at NSENT. Maria gave 150% to everything she was involved in. It was very clear how much she loved Joe, her family, friends and her church. She held paramount the needs of others and her selflessness will be remembered always.

For Maria:

An angel walked among us but would not be named as such
She accepted no credit. She gave each of us so much
She did not bear her own babies but adopted all of us
She listened, loved, worked and prayed with a minimum of fuss
Selfless, pious, and giving to her family and her friends
It was never too much, there was never an end
She taught only by example of how good she lived her life
Because of our connection, I am a better daughter, mother and wife
She quietly gave us friendship and expected nothing in return
I am privileged to call her my friend and am thankful for lessons learned
I know her mom is waiting to embrace her, both accepting this twist of fate
So let the angels get heaven ready; Maria is at the gate!
Love Jackie

It was others needs first with Maria... We shall miss her dearly. The suddenness of Maria's death can be difficult. It is a relief she went without pain. It is my prayer, Joe, that you and yours be granted the time, space and continue to hold dear the loving community of your family and friends to complete the grieving process. Do hope, in time, let's all can be richer in memories, given peace and acceptance.

The girls and I last saw Maria and her smile at Conway's in December at my Auntie Agnes' wake. We laughed and spoke of our quick Christmas exchanges. Maria did move fast, didn't she?! When I told Katie and Caroline of Maria's passing today at our breakfast table ... they both commented, you mean the nice lady with the white hair that gave us those Power Puff Girl cups we used all the time? Yep, Maria was a keeper. Thoughtful to the core.

Love you.
Cousin Cheryl and daughters Caroline and Katie Codair of Cape Cod

Joe and Family,
We are so sad to hear about Maria. Her smile will live forever. We will always remember Maria by her kindness, her role as a care giver to all, her love for her friends, family and co-workers. She even took care of us (many generations) when it came to our medical appointments. Maria was an angel on earth. Dear Carolyn, Joe and all the Family, Roland and I are so saddened and shocked to learn of Maria's sudden and unexpected death. We must take comfort in knowing she did not suffer for a long time and will not spend her remaining life in a nursing home. She was such a dedicated nurse and caregiver for all your children whom she loved so much. They will all miss her so much, just as we will. We regret that we will be unable to attend her services this week, but please know you are in our hearts and prayers. May she rest in enternal peace. God bless all of you.
Love, Ruthie and Roland

Dear Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. It is so sad to lose Maria, who was such an integral part of the family. Always there when needed to host family get togethers and taking care of everyone and everything. She was a big cog in our "family wheel". How appropriate that she should spend her last hours at a family gathering enjoying everyone's company. We're going to miss her. Although we cannot be with you this week, please know that we are with you in spirit.
Love and prayers, Richie and Lois
