Obituary of Ronald J. "Moose" Pellegrino

Ronald J. “Moose” Pellegrino, 53, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 after being stricken at home. Ronald was born in Boston on March 30, 1958 the son of the Joseph M. and Ethel M. (Meehan) Pellegrino. He was raised in Peabody and graduated from the Peabody Vocational High School Class of 1977 and he was a lifelong resident of the city. Ronald was employed as a machinist at Aster Engineering in Middleton until its closing. He was then employed as a truck driver at the Northeast Nursery in Peabody having to leave on a disability. While in High School Ronald played football and was a member of the Leaders Club. He was also an avid sports fan and had been presently cheering the Boston Bruins Hockey Team to win the Stanley Cup. Ronald is survived by his 3 brothers, Francis R. “Frank” Pellegrino and his wife Arlene, Kenneth J. Pellegrino all of Peabody, and Richard M. Pellegrino with whom he resided in Peabody; a nephew, Kenneth Pellegrino, Jr., a niece, Nicole Palmer and her husband Richard all of Beverly; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
